I don’t think anyone has ever accused me of being a “dumb blonde” (even when I was blonde), but then again…no one’s ever accused me of being a rocket scientist, either. That being said, I usually get a joke. Few things just go over my head, but when they do and I figure it out, I have a tendency to completely crack up. Did you get it? The woman is so in need of her glasses that she thinks the raccoon is her cat! I can’t believe I didn’t catch on, but for some reason, I completely overlooked the part that the commercial was for the optical department! When my sister pointed it out to me, I couldn’t stop laughing. As I type this, I’m still amused!
I can’t tell you how much I needed that laugh. I’ve been wallowing in a state of misery all week, and while warranted in my feelings, there comes a time when you just have to put everything aside and LAUGH!
